Seeking KG/Grade-school experiences  (N/A) (204.237.48.69)

Hi.  Heather Jones helped me recently when I sought this information by email.  She broadcast my question to the DSANCR membership and I got some feedback that was great.  One of the responders asked me to post this question to this site so feedback received was available for others and for future reference.  Good idea.  Here's my original query.  I won't post replys I got for privacy reasons but I encourage those responders to post their replies to this post.

We would like to speak with parents in the NCR DSA with school experiences in Almonte/West Carleton/Carp area?  Our son is getting to the age where we are considering school options and there are a few schools in our area we're considering.  Frankly it's like navigating a maze in a way.  Thought we'd see if there were some parents in the association willing to speak with us about their experiences with the schools we're considering.  Ideally, we're hoping to find parents who've had a child in kindergarten and then grade school for a few years.

Re: Seeking KG/Grade-school experiences  (Canada) (70.51.237.105)

Hi,

I am now at the point of looking for schooling for our daughter, ready to start JK in September.  We live downtown and are considering the following schools: Viscount Alexander, Lady Evelyn, and Corpus Christi.  If you are willing to share your knowledge about any of those school's programs with regards to inclusion, integration, and EA support, I would really appreciate it.  I can be contacted at janicen.bernstein@gmail.com

Thanks,

janice
